Meet the New Fill Your Boots: A New Look, A Better Platform, The Same Mission
Fill Your Boots has a new look — and we’ve made some big changes to the platform too.
Over the last few months, we’ve been working behind the scenes to refresh FYB and make it simpler, easier to navigate and, most importantly, more useful for the grassroots rugby community.
There’s a new logo and a refreshed identity, but this is about much more than changing how FYB looks.
We’ve revisited how people use the platform, made it easier to discover the features you need and improved some of the areas we believe can make a real difference to players, clubs, coaches and volunteers.
The result is a new-look FYB, built around the same mission we’ve had from the very beginning:
Bringing Rugby Together.
A New Look for FYB

You’ll probably notice the new FYB logo first.
As Fill Your Boots has evolved from an idea about helping clubs find players into a much wider grassroots rugby community, we felt it was time the brand evolved with it.
The new identity gives FYB a cleaner, more modern look while retaining what matters most — rugby and the community around it.
But we didn’t want to simply give the website a makeover. We wanted to make it better to use.
A New, Easier-to-Use Dashboard

One of the biggest changes is the redevelopment of the FYB Dashboard.
There’s now a much clearer route into the different areas of the platform, making it quicker to find what you need.
Whether you’ve come to FYB to find a fixture, discover a local club, explore opportunities, access resources or join a conversation, we want to remove as many barriers as possible between logging in and getting something useful from the platform.
It’s simpler, cleaner and designed around what the grassroots rugby community actually comes to FYB to do.
Finding Useful Resources Just Got Easier

Grassroots rugby clubs face an enormous range of challenges — often dealt with by volunteers giving up their spare time.
We want FYB to help.
Our Resources Hub has been completely reorganised, making it much easier to find useful information across key areas of running and growing a rugby club.
That includes resources covering marketing and social media, finance and funding, recruitment and retention, governance and safeguarding, facilities and grounds, coaching and development, wellbeing and inclusion, and more.
We’ve also introduced a growing collection of free FYB Templates & Downloads.
These are practical tools clubs can download, edit and use themselves — from social media planners and sponsorship templates to finance trackers, recruitment packs and committee tools.
No paywalls. No subscriptions. Just useful resources designed to make life a little easier for the people keeping our clubs going.
Discover Rugby Clubs Near You

The Find a Rugby Club feature has also had a major overhaul.
We’ve replaced our previous map with a new interactive Rugby Club Finder that makes discovering clubs much easier.
You can now enter your location, choose your search radius and explore clubs nearby.
Each marker connects users with further information about the club and its FYB profile, helping players find somewhere to play and giving clubs another way to be discovered.
Whether you’ve moved to a new area, are returning to rugby, fancy a change or are looking for your first club, we want FYB to make that first step easier.
And the map will continue growing as more clubs join the platform.
More Than a Rugby Finder
Finding players and fixtures will always be an important part of Fill Your Boots, but FYB has become much more than that.
The revamped platform brings together our Rugby Finder, Rugby Club Finder, community groups, resources, opportunities, FYB TV, news, blogs, deals and offers in one place.
At the heart of it is the community.
We want clubs to learn from clubs. Volunteers to learn from volunteers. People to share ideas, ask questions, find opportunities and help each other solve some of the challenges facing grassroots rugby.
There is a huge amount of knowledge already within our game. FYB can help bring those people together.
Come and Explore the New FYB
If you’re already an FYB member, we’d love you to log back in and have a look around.
Update your profile. Explore the new dashboard. Join some groups. Browse the resources. Try the new Rugby Club Finder.
If you manage a club profile, now is also a great opportunity to check that your club’s information is complete and up to date.
And, of course, tell your teammates, coaches, committee members and rugby mates about FYB.
The more people who get involved, the more useful the community becomes for everyone.
A New Chapter. The Same Mission.
Fill Your Boots started with a very simple problem: a rugby club needed players to fulfil a fixture.
That eventually became an idea about whether technology could make it easier for people across grassroots rugby to find each other.
The platform has changed considerably since then – and this latest redevelopment is another step forward.
But two things haven’t changed.
Fill Your Boots is free and will remain free.
And everything we’re building continues to be driven by one simple ambition:
