ABOUT

BRINGING RUGBY TOGETHER SINCE 2015

How We Got Started

FYB started in October 2015, Founder Sean Phelan’s club Racal Decca were struggling to field a XV each week. It was his idea to try and build a community of Rugby clubs & players who would be willing to share in order to keep rugby matches from being cancelled.

Our Founder

Sean has been the social secretary, fixtures secretary, player, captain, chief cook & bottlewasher of Racal Decca RFC as well as playing junior rugby at Kingston RFC.

It All Began On Social Media

FYB started on just Facebook & Twitter in 2015 and is now followed by over 25,000 rugby fanatics across many social accounts… and now we have our own!

The Future

This FYB social network is designed to help clubs & players grow together. It has been a really tough year for the community game & now is the time to plan for the future.

Great site, helping to find clubs players and players games – great for the grass roots of the game.

Great idea to support the grassroots and longevity of the game we love!

FYB Rugby has been vital in the survival of our club, from helping us fielding teams on match days for many years to supporting our recent rebranding and relaunch. We couldn’t have kept on keeping on without them.
