Having established in 1962

Hornets have continued to grow and flourish over the years.

From humble beginnings we now operate 5 senior men’s sides – 1st, 2nds, 3rds and 4ths all play league rugby with the 1st team currently in the 4th tier of English rugby playing in National 2. We also have a Vets side who play a number of friendlies throughout the season.

We have a senior ladies side currently top of  NC2 and hoping for promotion at the end of the season.

Our Mini, Junior and Girls section is one of the best in the area, starting at Little Stinger (U6) up to Colts and with full representation in the girls section with u12’s, U14’s, u16’s and u18’s. We pride ourselves on our commitment to top class coaching and a clear player pathway through to senior rugby and beyond, with both senior men’s and ladies players earning international honours in recent years.
We also proudly have a number of players involved from U14’s – U18’s in Bristol Bears and Bath Rugby academies.
