Scotland have announced their squad for Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan. Stuart McInally has been named Scotland captain who has been chosen ahead of John Barclay and Greig Laidlaw to lead the team in Japan.

Scotland begin their campaign against Ireland in Yokohama on Sunday 22nd September before taking on Samoa in Kobe on Monday 30th September. They then go on to face Russia on Wednesday 9th October in Shizuoka, before rounding out the pool phase against hosts Japan in Yokohama on Sunday 13th October.
