As part of a new three-year partnership, Australian Sports Manufacturer Steeden will become the Official Match Ball supplier to Betfred Super League, Championship and League 1, the Challenge Cup and England Rugby League programmes.



Newcastle Falcons announce new head of commercial

Newcastle Falcons have announced John Oates as the club’s new head of commercial. Oates has been working with the club during the past year on commercial and community projects including the 2019 European finals, Newcastle Falcons playing ‘The Big One’ at St James’ Park and Newcastle Thunder rugby league. Working in professional sport for more than 20 years, Oates began his career with Newcastle Falcons when the club first turned professional, going on to work for Premiership Rugby.




Saracens acquire 50% stake in Netball Superleague team

Saracens Rugby Club announced it has acquired 50% stake in Vitality Netball Superleague team, benecosMavericks, in a mutually beneficial partnership that will help fuel the next phase of growth for both organisations.




St. Helens welcome ELCONS as new partner

Elcons Employment Law Consultants Ltd have signed a sponsorship deal with the St. Helens to become their official Human Resources Partner. Their ELCONS logo will feature on the rear of the Club’s home and away playing shorts across all Men’s and Women’s teams for the next three seasons.
